* From July 1st 2021 all private hygiene appointments now incur an additional £5 charge at all appointments. This additional cost is applied to the procedures as an aerosol will be created and will contribute to the additional costs of PPE and our investment in equipment to ensure and maintain clean air in the surgeries. These additional charges will appear on your invoices and statements as AGP or ‘Aerosol Generating’. We will of course continue to review this charge and reduce it as soon as PPE costs start to fall. The charge does not apply to NHS treatment as The Government subsidises NHS care and has made extra allowances to cover the cost of the extra essential PPE our clinicians need to wear to treat you. Therefore, there is no additional charge to you for NHS treatment. Please be assured that the appropriate level of PPE will be worn for any treatment.
